Qualifications

• 5+ years’ working knowledge in logistics and transportation industry, including freight management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent education plus work experience.
• Strong team-building and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and cultivate relationships.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and complex environment while making timely decisions under pressure.
• Experience with multiple freight modes including dry van, expedited, flatbed, and intermodal.
• Familiarity with freight management software; McLeod and Cargowise are a plus.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

• Cultivate relationships with existing customers to develop accounts to their fullest potential.
• Create and drive a business plan strategy that meets sales goals.
• Maintain knowledge of services, resources, and customer requirements.
• Present services to customers to build comprehensive logistics and supply chain solutions.
• Build strong customer relationships and develop solutions based on trends.
• Prepare quotes to meet monthly and quarterly goals.
• Coordinate with Capacity Procurement to meet service expectations.
• Communicate with Capacity teams and carriers about issues.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with customers.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings to introduce additional services.
