Job summary

Simmons is seeking a Production Planning Analyst to deliver analytics and insights for short- and long-term production, capacity planning and logistics. You will collaborate with Demand and Production Planning to improve the plant production mix and forecast accuracy.

You will support the monthly S&OP process with data analysis, provide exception reports, and help maintain optimized finished-goods inventory levels by SKU. Travel may be required within North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years' equivalent experience in a related field.
• At least 3 years' experience in data analytics and supply chain/logistics.
• Proven ability to analyze data with BI software to drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytics, exception reporting and insights to drive production plans.
• Support monthly supply review as part of the S&OP process with data-driven recommendations.
• Maintain finished goods inventory levels by SKU based on forecast and service levels.
• Participate in team activities and align with enterprise policies and goals.
