Job summary

Northrop Grumman Sentinel Systems in Roy, Utah seeks a Sr. Staff (level 6) Systems Engineer to lead a team of SMT Tech Leads. The role focuses on design changes, supplier coordination, and risk mitigation within ICBM/Launch facilities programs.

Requires active DoD clearance and leadership experience. The position offers challenging work across land, sea, air, space, and cyberspace domains with a strong focus on collaboration and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in STEM with significant related experience.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver complex systems.
• Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle including requirements and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor SMT Tech Leads and teams.
• Coordinate design changes and supplier impacts.
• Develop templates and processes for SSOWs and RFIs/RFPs.
• Provide technical guidance across program operating units and partners.
• Balance technical needs with cost and schedule constraints.
• Support PDP ingestion activities and risk mitigation.
