Job summary

Keysight is seeking an Expert-level Procurement Specialist to join the New Product Introduction (NPI) Technology Procurement team in Santa Rosa, CA. This on-site role collaborates with R&D, manufacturing, and global procurement to translate objectives into structured supplier plans and lead execution.

You will negotiate strategic agreements, assess supplier capabilities, manage risk, and drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in SCM or related field.
• 8+ years in supply chain, procurement, sourcing, or supplier management.
• Ability to design procurement processes end-to-end from concept to delivery.
• Working knowledge of MRP and ERP systems (Oracle or SAP).
• Strong negotiation skills and experience resolving cost, quality, and delivery issues.
• Experience with SOWs and NDAs and commercial contracting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate commercial agreements and pricing with strategic suppliers for NPI and production.
• Lead supplier management processes and assess capability, capacity, and performance.
• Translate broad objectives into structured procurement project plans and lead execution.
• Resolve supplier-related cost, quality, and delivery issues through collaboration.
• Align procurement activities with R&D, operations, and manufacturing across sites.
• Drive process improvements in NPI execution, resourcing, cost reduction, and quality.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams in multiple time zones to maintain supply readiness.
