Job summary

Symbotic LLC is seeking an experienced procurement professional to develop program-specific sourcing plans for NPIs, retrofits, and cross-functional initiatives. You will guide teams toward sourcing strategies, attend regular meetings, and manage financial and execution risks across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or program/project management.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional engineering and program management teams.
• Strong understanding of sourcing strategy, category management, and PO execution processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent programs and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop program-specific sourcing plans for each assigned NPI, retrofit, or cross-functional initiative.
• Guide the project team to the sourcing strategy, feeding required sourcing information throughout the development phase.
• Attend multiple recurring meetings per week for the duration of the program as procurement's representative.
• Manage and elevate financial risk and opportunity in the development lifecycle.
• Direct PO execution by Sourcing Operations to stay aligned with the sourcing strategy.
• Partner with category buyers and strategic commodity leaders to align program requirements with supplier capabilities.
• Drive engineering toward AVL and preferred suppliers during design and avoid sole-source risk.
• Ensure aftersales and cradle-to-grave sourcing considerations are represented in decisions.
