Job summary

Amaneos is seeking a Supplier Development Specialist in Auburn Hills, MI to lead APQP/PPAP with suppliers and coordinate with Quality and Purchasing to meet Amaneos standards and customer expectations. The role requires on-site audits, KPI tracking, and driving corrective actions while balancing multiple programs and changes.

You will travel up to 25% to supplier and customer locations, review PPAP documentation, manage supplier performance, and support new program launches with robust test

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial/mechanical or related field.
• 3+ years automotive quality/supplier quality experience.
• Strong MS Office and Teams proficiency.
• Self-motivated, proactive, team player, multitask based on requirements.
• Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills.
• AIAG IATF Supplier/Internal Auditor Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site audits at supplier locations and assist the purchasing team for supplier qualifications.
• Lead APQP activities at supplier level for new program launches and help achieve milestones.
• Assist suppliers to achieve PPAP for existing and new parts using AIAG and VDA rules and Amaneos standards.
• Review PPAP documentation including control plans, FMEAs, Process Flows and technical controls on key characteristics.
• Manage tracking of Approved supplier list and PPAP status across suppliers.
• Gather supplier performance data and maintain KPI with purchasing for Quality, Delivery and Cost.
