Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Technical, Business or related field, or 4 years industry experience in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years of Purchasing, Materials, Engineering, Logistics or Manufacturing experience.
• Experience collaborating with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Materials and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and develop project plans, actions and metrics with suppliers.
• Perform value stream mapping with key suppliers.
• Use SIPOC or other Lean techniques.
• Forecast consolidation and stocking programs.
• Interact with suppliers and site materials management on performance issues.
• Support on-time delivery and lead time reduction planning.
• Assess supplier capabilities to meet performance and capacity needs.
• Collaborate with SQE to resolve quality issues with suppliers.
