Job summary

Alaska Airlines is seeking a Supplier Performance Data Analyst to transform supplier, operational, and financial data into actionable insights. The role supports supplier performance management for Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines.

Two levels exist: P2 and P3, sharing core responsibilities but differing in scope and complexity. Candidates should have data analytics experience and strong BI capabilities.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in data analytics or related area.
• Bachelor's degree with a focus in business administration or related discipline, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio, with a working knowledge of VBA, SQL, Python, or other data management tools.
• Ability to develop and maintain dashboards, metrics, reports, and analytical tools using established business requirements and methodologies.
• Ability to derive insights from data to answer complex business questions, and to synthesize information from multiple sources into conclusions and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret supplier performance, operational, and financial data to answer defined business questions and identify actionable insights.
• Develop, monitor and maintain dashboards and reporting to visualize supplier performance for team and partners.
• Develop and monitor key supply chain metrics to elevate operational performance and financial outcomes.
• Identify inefficiencies in the supply chain and recommend improvement actions.
