Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, Utah seeks a Manager Programs 2 - Supplier Management Team Lead to guide a multi-function team on major supplier efforts within the Sentinel program.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with extensive related experience or a master’s plus years’ experience; active US Secret clearance and EVMS expertise are highly valued. Competitive benefits and a 9/80 schedule accompany a relocation package may be offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years related experience or Master’s with 6 years related experience or 4 years additional experience in lieu of degree.
• 3 years working with Training systems.
• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance; ability to obtain and maintain SAP access.
• Experience supporting U.S. Government contracts or large supplier management portfolios.
• Experience leading projects and managing cross-functional teams.
• Experience driving supplier to cost, schedule, and technical deliverables.
• 2+ years of Earned Value management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team managing major supplier efforts and provide PM leadership.
• Monitor technical performance baselines and manage risks and opportunities.
• Communicate and resolve issues across SMT and supplier organizations.
• Manage subcontractor scope to balance technical, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Develop and review SSOWs, RFPs, and supplier proposals.

Skills

Govt contracts experience

Project leadership

EVMS / IPMDAR experience
