Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC is seeking a Supplier Development Specialist to strengthen supplier performance and capability. The role focuses on onboarding, audits, and development to ensure alignment with business requirements.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in supplier development, quality improvement, sourcing, engineering, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of supplier quality systems, auditing practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven ability to influence suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders while driving accountability and results.
• Experience with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and/or ISO 45001), supplier audits, and supplier performance management.
• Strong data analysis capabilities, including Microsoft Office, Power BI, and ERP systems such as SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier onboarding, qualification, and development to build a strong, reliable supply base.
• Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities, reduce costs, and improve quality and delivery performance.
• Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and site visits to evaluate performance and drive corrective actions as needed.
• Negotiate framework agreements, maintain supplier compliance documentation, and ensure adherence to corporate policies and standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Project teams to resolve supplier-related issues and support strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Travel domestically and internationally (approximately 50%) to support supplier development, audits, and strategic initiatives.
