Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC seeks a Project Quality Engineer to lead the execution of project-specific quality requirements. You will serve as the quality liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.

You will monitor quality performance, drive corrective actions, and support continuous improvement. Travel up to 15% is required as you collaborate across sites in the Voorheesville area.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in quality/ manufacturing or project quality.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality or related field.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, documentation, reporting and inspection.
• Experience interpreting customer specifications and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead as the primary quality representative for customer projects.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers and cross-functional teams on quality issues.
• Monitor project quality performance and drive resolution of nonconformances.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure compliance with standards.
• Review customer specs and implement mitigation plans.
• Maintain quality documentation and project records.
• Support continuous improvement to reduce defects and improve on-time delivery.
