Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond is seeking a seasoned supply chain engineer to own continuity of IC supply and to partner with design, R&D and manufacturing teams to ensure quality, cost and delivery targets in Starlink hardware production.

The role emphasizes leading supplier qualification, PPAP, and proactive improvements while coordinating with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing. A strong background in supplier quality and lean methods is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required.
• 2+ years of experience with electronic packaged part manufacturing (IC packaging/substrates).
• 3+ years in one of: supply chain engineering, supplier development/quality, process engineering, manufacturing, or design engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own continuity of supply for IC custom silicon & packaging hardware.
• Collaborate with design, R&D, and manufacturing to understand design intent.
• Review and approve substrate fabrication technology and quality plans.
• Support procurement to source parts with supplier competencies.
