General Dynamics NASSCO Bremerton is seeking a Subcontracts Specialist to solicit, negotiate, award, and administer high-dollar procurements for ship repair programs. You will act as the focal point for subcontracting actions, coordinating with project and contracts teams to ensure compliance with FAR and contract requirements.

Typical qualifications include a BA/BS or AA/AS with related experience, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Competenze

• Typically has a BA/BS in a related field, or AA/AS plus two (2) years’ directly related experience, or four (4) years’ directly related experience.

Mansioni

• Procurement of semi complex high-dollar subcontractor services and materials.
• Plan and coordinate facility surveys for subcontractor capability.
• Validate subcontracts and requisitions against contract specifications.
• Ensure subcontract agreements specify technical requirements and contract clauses.
