Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Proposal Subcontracts Lead to support government and commercial cost proposals by coordinating compliant subcontract data and aligning with Moog policies and FAR regulations. The role involves collaboration with Cost Engineering and Supply Chain teams, and travel to customer sites as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a engineering/business-related degree with at least five years of relevant experience and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in supply chain, cost engineering, material estimating, material analysis, or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of FAR/DFARS, TINA, and CAS.
• Pricing, Proposals, and/or Contracts experience.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key coordinator and record holder of the material supporting data and analyses for proposal team(s).
• Ensure Moog Estimating System compliance and provide interpretation of FAR requirements.
• Ensure adherence to FAR, TINA, and Moog policies regarding cost proposal preparation, review, compliance, submission, updates/revisions, and negotiations.
• Provide training and coordination to Supply Chain teams for compliant completion of material supporting data and analyses.
• Analyze Bills of Material for supporting and analysis documentation requirements to ensure compliant responses to proposal requests.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Cost Engineering teams to support material pricing strategies.
• Interface with Suppliers to support alignment of Cost Engineering and Supply Chain processes.
• Support audit requests, fact-finding, and negotiation discussions and the program budget baseline process.
