Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Lead, Subcontracts Management to drive cradle-to-grave subcontract activities for Defense Sector programs. You will interface with Leidos management, suppliers, and program teams to ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and internal policies, while mentoring junior staff and handling complex awards.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, the ability to prioritize across multiple projects, and excellent communication with internal partners and external suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience or Master’s Degree with 6–10 years.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Experience awarding and managing subcontracts under FAR/DFARS.
• Proven negotiation skills to optimize price and terms.
• Experience leading subcontract management across diverse programs.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead cradle-to-grave subcontract management for primarily US Government programs.
• Craft teaming strategies and oversee proposal activities and subcontract awards.
• Manage post-award activities, changes, risk mitigation, and reporting.
• Review files for compliance and mentor junior staff on policies and best practices.
• Coordinate with contracts, finance, and suppliers to align outcomes with programs.
