Job summary

True Anomaly seeks a Subcontract Manager to lead the subcontracting function for aerospace programs. You will structure agreements, manage supplier performance, and integrate subcontracted work across cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance.

You will own negotiations, templates, KPIs, and risk management, while ensuring ITAR/export-control compliance. A bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in subcontract or supply chain management are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering.
• 7+ years of subcontract or supply chain management experience in aerospace, defense, or tech manufacturing.
• Proven track record negotiating and managing complex subcontract agreements in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep understanding of SOW development, pricing, risk allocation, and supplier performance management.
• Familiarity with ITAR, DFARS, FAR, and export control compliance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with cross-functional collaboration.
• Results-driven, pragmatic, and capable of balancing strategy with hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute subcontracting strategies aligned with program goals.
• Lead negotiation and management of subcontracts, SOWs, NDAs, and change orders.
• Drive contract structures and maintain standard subcontract templates.
• Manage regulatory and execution risk with Legal and Program teams (ITAR, export controls).
• Manage subcontractor performance across cost, schedule, quality, and execution.
• Lead reviews with strategic subcontractors to address program needs.
• Interface between subcontractors and internal teams; align activities with schedules.
• Collaborate with Program, Engineering, Finance, and Legal to resolve issues.
• Track budgets, commitments, and financial performance; ensure timely payments.
• Maintain subcontract documentation and audit readiness.
