Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Plan II Honors Student Program Coordinator to support first- and second-year student programming, events, scholarship support, admissions recruitment and outreach, and communications and social media for the Plan II Honors Program.

This exempt, full-time role reports to the Plan II Honors Program staff and requires a bachelor’s degree with several years of experience in higher education administration.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience planning and coordinating student programs and events.
• Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate first-year programming for Plan II Honors majors, including events and admin tasks.
• Support sophomore programming and collaboration with admissions and advising teams.
• Oversee scholarships, travel grants, and thesis-related awards in the Plan II portfolio.
• Manage communications and social media for Plan II, including newsletters and LinkedIn content.
• Recruit and supervise student admissions fellows and oversee outreach efforts.
