Job summary

Responsibilities

  • First Year Experience Programming: Assist in the coordination of all aspects of first year programming for the Plan II Honors Major including: Fall Convocation, Getaway, Out of State Student and community building events, Family Day and all the administrative tasks for these events.
  • With the admissions director, serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders; including prospective students and their families (both prospective and newly admitted applicants) and the academic advising team for programming related to the first-year experience.
  • Support Faculty and Staff Director in implementation and coordination of sophomore experience programming.
  • Student Experience Programming: Coordination of student experience programming, including internships, experiential learning, volunteering, and other community-building programs.
  • T C 125K Freshman Course: Support Faculty Director in coordination of the Freshman TC 125K Community Connections Course - in conjunction with advising unit support the development of Peer Mentor program and efforts related to the TC 125K course. Supervise Plan II Leadership Fellow to assist with student academic programming.
  • Scholarships: Responsible for the review and awarding of all scholarships within the Plan II portfolio (continuing student scholarships, travel grants and thesis grants). Will work closely with the Faculty Director, Office Manager, and Director of Admissions to manage this process.
  • Communications and Social Media: Responsible for communications and social media presence, including but not limited to the Plan II Newsletter, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts in accordance to CoLA specifications and with CoLA Public Affairs staff. Will supervise Digital Media Intern to create digital materials for internal and external relations.
  • Recruitment and Outreach: Manage all processes related to scheduling/coordinating outreach opportunities for prospective students and their families, lead sessions. Responsible for hiring and managing team of student admissions fellows to assist with promotion of the Plan II Honors program.
  • Other related functions as assigned.

Purpose

Salary Range

$50,000 + depending on qualifications
