Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is hiring a Program Coordinator for UT for Me to work with scholarship recipients and students, ensuring timely graduation and strong career planning. You will interact with students individually and in groups to provide academic, financial planning and referrals to campus resources.

You will manage a large caseload, coordinate with campus programs, and employ holistic advising practices to address both academic and non-academic concerns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of coordinating or administering a program with college students or college readiness activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to use technology daily.
• Knowledge of student development and campus resources; relevant education/experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Support first-time in college students from orientation through graduation and aid them in meeting career goals.
• Manage a large caseload of students through regular contact in person, email, text, and other channels.
• Provide individualized programming to promote retention and timely graduation with focus on career outcomes.
• Liaise with on-campus student success programs, career services, and undergraduate colleges and schools.
• Utilize case-management tools and data sources to manage caseloads and dashboards.
• Other duties as assigned.
