Albertsons Companies is seeking an Assistant Store Director to lead a Southern California store team across multiple locations. You will drive strong store conditions, customer experience, and team performance, reporting to the Store Director while ensuring safety and financial discipline.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive retail leadership experience.
• Experience leading large teams in grocery or big-box retail.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive strong store conditions and sales results through disciplined operational execution and customer-first service.
• Lead, coach, develop, and supervise store associates to build talent and bench strength.
• Partner with Store Director, HR, and Labor Relations on staffing and performance management.
• Analyze sales, labor, shrink, and trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, wage/hour laws, and pricing integrity.
• Oversee end-to-end merchandising, inventory, and vendor display execution.
