Job summary

Playfly Sports is seeking a Sr. Account Executive, Sponsorship Sales to join our team at the University of Nebraska.

This on-site role in Lincoln, NE, partners with the university’s athletic department to drive enterprise sponsorship revenue and build strategic sponsorships that align with university assets. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of direct sports sponsorship sales experience, strong communication and presentation skills, and a proven ability to develop and close complex deals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
3–5 years of direct sales experience in the sports multi-media environment.
Experience with integrated and "conceptual" sales.
Outstanding communication skills are essential for interactions with clients and executives.
Demonstrated professional sales presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and executing a sales plan.
Identify potential sponsors for the university through networking and research.
Collaborate to create sales inventory, projections and strategy for university assets.
Develop sales presentations and proposals aligned with partner goals.
Manage end-of-year recaps and renewals with sponsors.
Represent the university, Playfly Sports Properties, and Playfly professionally.
