Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to support the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC) onsite at Vandenberg SFB.

You will lead scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables, coordinating with stakeholders and mentoring the Project Operations Group on best practices.

A Secret U.S. Government Clearance is required; U.S. Citizenship is necessary. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required.
• 5+ years of experience in project management; engineering project management preferred.
• Experience with Catalyst PM methodology, including budget development, planning, control and assurance.
• Experience aligning with client vision, objectives, and success factors.
• Experience with delivery assurance principles and procedures.
• Experience with architecture, development, integration, and deployment of project phases.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, schedules, budgets, objectives, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Document baselines and decompose complex work into manageable components.
• Identify resources and coordinate with staff to ensure successful completion.
• Monitor status, escalate issues, and manage changes and risks.
• Lead RFP reviews and assist with technical elements and cost estimates for proposals.
• Oversee status reporting and interface with customers for reviews.
• Mentor other project managers and develop Group processes and best practices.
