Job summary
Sazerac Company in Dallas seeks a Space Planning Manager to bridge data and shelf, guiding category performance for national retailers. You will lead space planning analysts, shape planograms, and drive strategic merchandising initiatives with cross-functional partners to deliver measurable results.
The role requires 5–7 years in space planning or category management, a business degree, and strong Excel/Power BI skills; travel up to 25%.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, or related field.
- 5–7 years of space management/category management/retail analytics experience.
- 2+ years in consumer-packaged goods/beverage/alcohol retail.
- Experience leading projects and cross-functional collaboration.
- Advanced knowledge of space planning tools (JDA/Blue Yonder, Shelf IQ).
- Experience with syndicated data sources (Circana, NielsenIQ).
- Strong Excel and BI/Analytics skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead a space planning analytics team and set priorities.
- Drive space management initiatives across large retailers.
- Develop merchandising strategies aligned to retailer priorities.
- Manage planogram development, resets, and data integrity.
- Deliver persuasive reporting and stakeholder presentations.
