Job summary

Sazerac Company is seeking a Space Planning Analyst to turn shopper and category data into actionable shelving strategies across retail partners. This role partners with internal teams and retailers to optimize planograms, assortment, and shelf share while leading shelf reset initiatives.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Business or Analytics with 2+ years in space planning or related analytics, proficiency in Excel and Power BI/Tableau, and experience with planogram software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, or related field.
• 2+ years of space planning, category management, retail analytics, or related experience.
• Experience with planogram software (Blue Yonder/JDA, Spaceman, Apollo, SMSB) and syndicated data sources (Circana, Nielsen).
• Strong analytical skills with Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Turn shopper, category, and sales data into shelving strategies that improve performance, shopper flow, and category growth.
• Evaluate planogram effectiveness and identify opportunities to optimize assortment, share of shelf, and product placement.
• Partner with internal teams and retailers to deliver fact-based recommendations supported by visuals and insights.
• Lead planogram and shelf reset initiatives, ensuring data integrity and alignment across stakeholders.
• Support category and assortment projects that help retailers and customers unlock new growth opportunities.
