Job summary

Hunting Subsea Technologies Stafford location seeks an experienced supply chain leader to oversee strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier relationships, driving cost savings and resilience across the supply base.

You will lead supplier negotiations, establish policies, and coordinate with planning to ensure on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels. On-site role with growth opportunities and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of supply chain management experience in progressively senior roles.
• Preferred: college degree in Business Administration or related field, with 5 years industry experience.
• Preferred: APICS, CPSM, or CSCP certification.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
• In depth knowledge of inventory management, production planning, material planning and sourcing.
• Experience implementing enterprise planning software modules for core SCM processes.
• Demonstrated ability of managing cost performance, supply/demand forecasting execution across a variety of product lines from multiple sources.
• Ability to build strategic plans and development of SCM competencies.
• Able to transform current business strategies to a supply chain strategy, building end to end supply chains.
• Solid judgment to know what is appropriate for the company size/scope.
• Able to interface with both technical and non-technical personnel.
• Able to provide improvement to processes as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives that support organizational goals and long-term business objectives.
• Create procurement strategies that balance cost, quality lead time, and service requirements.
• Lead competitive bidding, RFQ, RFP, and supplier selection processes.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, value engineering, and process improvements.
• Establish purchasing policies, procedures, and best practices to improve procurement efficiency.
• Foster partnerships that support business continuity and long-term supplier development.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for supplier performance issues and corrective action initiatives.
• Conduct supplier business reviews and performance evaluations.
• Develop supplier scorecards focused on OTD, Quality and Risk
• Negotiate pricing agreements, contracts, and payment terms with Supplier Partners
• Collaborate with suppliers to identify opportunities for cost reduction, lead time reduction, and improved efficiencies.
• Manage supplier qualification, onboarding, and performance improvement programs.
• Foster partnerships that support business continuity and long-term supplier development.
• Review purchase orders for accuracy, price variances and delivery needs.
• Monitor open purchase orders and expedite critical materials as needed.
• Resolve supplier delivery, quality, invoicing and pricing discrepancies.
• Coordinate procurement activities with production planning and inventory management teams.
