Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sourcing Specialist, OPEX for Starlink to drive procurement strategies, supplier development and cost optimization. You will manage POs, forecast demand, and coordinate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure material flow for Starlink production.

You will develop sourcing strategies for custom items and indirect categories, evaluate supplier performance, and support contract documentation and negotiations to maximize value while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience with MRP/ERP systems and managing BOMs, work orders, and POs.
• Forecasting, demand planning, and lead time analysis.
• Detail-oriented and able to prioritize multiple projects.
• Strong data analysis skills with Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders and resolve blocked invoices.
• Forecast demand, evaluate capacity, and manage supply signals.
• Track high-risk components and supplier delivery performance.
• Develop sourcing strategies for custom items and indirect categories.
• Create a preferred supplier network and minimize cost and lead time.
• Manage outsource fabrication projects and vendor performance.
• Author contract documents and ensure supplier contract obligations.
