Job summary

Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX) Bastrop, TX is seeking a procurement specialist to support Starlink supply chain activities. You will place POs, forecast demand, monitor supplier performance, and engage leadership to align on sourcing decisions.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, managing BOMs, developing supplier networks, and ensuring contract compliance with engineering and legal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related field; or 5+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• 3+ years in purchasing, procurement, material planning, production planning, supply chain management, or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders and resolve blocked invoices related to Solar Cell, Wafer, and Ingot production.
• Forecast demand, evaluate capacity, and manage supply signals to adjust incoming material for solar production.
• Track high risk components and supplier delivery performance.
• Communicate clearly and rapidly to influence decisions of vendors and senior leadership.
• Interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.
