Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a procurement professional to support starlink supply chain by placing POs, forecasting demand, and managing supplier performance. This onsite role focuses on cost, quality, and delivery improvements across multiple categories including equipment and services.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years in purchasing or 3+ years in related fields, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to travel up to 20% internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher and 1+ years in purchasing/related fields.
• Experience with capital expenditure purchasing is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing large capital projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders and resolve blocked invoices for the assigned category.
• Forecast demand, evaluate capacity, and manage supply signals to adjust input materials.
• Track supplier performance on cost, on-time delivery, quality and other metrics.
• Utilize negotiations to maximize value and cost savings while reducing risk.
• Create sourcing strategies for equipment, services and parts to reduce risk and meet targets.
• Manage contracts and authoring documents with the legal department.
