Job summary

Oerlikon is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support Friction Systems and Thermoelectrical Insulation Systems in the Americas, based in Dayton, OH or Mequon, WI. You will lead direct and indirect material procurement, develop sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with Global Category Leaders to optimize spend and drive value across the business units.

Applicants should have 5+ years in procurement, a relevant bachelor's degree, SAP experience, and strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Experience across Direct and Indirect Materials procurement.
• Ability to develop and implement sourcing strategies.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead bidding processes for direct and indirect materials and services.
• Negotiate service agreements and supplier contracts.
• Develop strategic sourcing plans to reduce costs.
• Build and manage supplier relationships and performance.
• Ensure contract compliance and align with global policies.
• Collaborate with Global and Regional procurement teams.
• Coordinate with Operations, Demand Planning, and R&D for priorities.
• Support NOBS process by securing multiple bids.
