Our client has been in business since the mid-1950’s and are currently searching for an experienced purchasing/sourcing professional. They offer a very family-friendly and flexible work environment. They have recently undergone several major plant expansions, modernization projects, and other major CAPEX initiatives. They are looking for a strong leader to help them in their continued growth.

The current opening is for a Sr. Sourcing Specialist. Main duties include:

• Identifying and negotiating with raw material vendors/suppliers
• Create purchase orders
• Manage cycle count process
• Monitor vendor performance
• Plan/decipher material schedules
• Develop and implement solutions to improve utilization of ERP system

Qualifications for the Sourcing Specialist include:

• A four-year degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or similar
• Work experience will be accepted in lieu of degree
• Well-organized, detail-oriented
• Experience working in a manufacturing setting
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
