Job summary

State University of New York at Buffalo is seeking a Buying/Sourcing Specialist to support and execute strategic sourcing initiatives. The role partners with internal and external stakeholders to plan, execute, and operationalize sourcing events, conduct market spend analysis, and translate sourcing outcomes into contracts and system readiness within Jaggaer Source‑to‑Pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 1 year of experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office products
• Basic knowledge of e‑Procurement systems

Responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end sourcing activities for assigned categories
• Assist in RFx events (RFI, RFQ, RFP, IFB) in Jaggaer
• Support supplier evaluation and award recommendations
• Coordinate contract documentation and pricing structures in Jaggaer
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure compliance
