Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience in manufacturing/engineered products.
• Experience in global supply chain initiatives & strategic planning.
• Interfacing with manufacturing engineering and program management teams.
• Strong negotiations and contract management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supports strategic sourcing projects with the operations team.
• Manages sourcing deals, contracts, delivery, and quality across the procurement cycle.
• Ensures follow-through from supplier sourcing to execution, delivery and quality.
• Identifies opportunities for cost savings and operational excellence.
• Collaborates with Finance and IT to enhance ERP systems.
• Evaluates supplier reliability and manages supplier relationships.
• Negotiates supply contracts and subcontracts.
• Organizes and conducts supplier site evaluations and audits.
