Job summary

SpaceX in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a Sourcing Manager, Software & Services to lead indirect procurement and supplier management. The role focuses on cost, quality, and delivery, partnering with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive savings and ensure contract compliance.

You will negotiate complex contracts, manage SOWs, and drive improvements across multiple categories, including professional services and facilities services. This onsite position offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 3+ years’ experience in procurement or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience in procurement, contract negotiation or supply chain.
• Experience with indirect procurement and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Strategy/Sourcing: Create sourcing strategies to reduce risk and meet cost targets.
• Stakeholder Management: Build internal stakeholder relationships to drive value.
• Change Management: Partner across functions to drive results and change.
• Analysis: Perform quantitative analysis to assess cost and impact.
• Negotiate complex global contracts with favorable terms.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking for categories.
• Contract Management: Draft contracts with Legal and ensure obligations.
• Supplier Management: Manage preferred suppliers and KPIs.
• Tactical Purchasing: Place POs and resolve blocked invoices.
• Efficiency: Lead efforts to reduce transactional volume.
