Job summary

Hines is seeking a Sourcing Manager to lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement for a major commercial portfolio. You will negotiate, manage supplier risk, and collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Operations to optimize value and ensure contract compliance.

The role requires strong strategic judgment, leadership, and a track record of delivering savings while maintaining supplier performance. Based in Chicago, Eastern Time readiness expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in strategic sourcing/procurement or related disciplines.
• Experience leading complex sourcing initiatives and negotiating high-value service agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities across a major commercial portfolio.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with financial objectives and client expectations.
• Manage complex procurement events (RFP/RFQ/RFI, contract renewals, supplier transitions).
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements and priorities.
• Prepare executive-level award recommendations and bid-justification documents.
• Present sourcing recommendations to senior stakeholders and coordinate contract execution.
