Job summary

The McAlear Group seeks a procurement professional to develop both domestic and international supply bases, vetting new suppliers and collaborating across QA, Engineering, and Production to meet quality, lead-time, service, and cost targets.

The role includes negotiating terms, processing orders, and analyzing landed costs while maintaining optimal inventory and complying with import/export rules. Bachelor’s degree and 4–7 years’ intl procurement exp preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of international procurement experience.
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Locate and investigate new international sources of supply based on product specifications.
• Manage international sourcing strategies and oversee global supplier relationships.
• Lead negotiations involving pricing, contracts, and payment terms with vendors.
• Process purchase orders per guidelines in a cost-efficient manner.
• Analyze landed costs to ensure low cost with high quality and on-time delivery.
• Maintain optimum order quantities to fill containers and manage inventory.
• Ensure import/export compliance and trade regulations.
• Analyze procurement metrics and report to management.
• Investigate new suppliers for better price, delivery, and quality.
• Manage inventory levels of assigned materials.
