Job summary

McLane Global is a leading supply chain partner focused on food sales and distribution across domestic and international markets. The Brand Sourcing Specialist identifies, evaluates, and procures U.S.

branded products for international distribution, while coordinating supplier onboarding and basic negotiations. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in sourcing or procurement, an AAS degree (or related bachelor’s), and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• AAS degree required; bachelor’s in related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of sourcing, procurement, or brand support experience.
• Basic understanding of supply and demand and pricing fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Incoterms and international shipping concepts.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic analytical skills; able to interpret product and pricing data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or sourcing platforms.
• Understanding of consumer-packaged goods (CPG) markets is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research US branded consumer products for international distribution.
• Monitor brands, market trends, and new product opportunities.
• Evaluate suppliers for quality, reliability, and commercial fit.
• Assist onboarding for new suppliers and collect required documents.
• Help negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQs, and lead times.
• Maintain sourcing records, cost sheets, and logs.
• Analyze market trends, consumer demand, and competitor assortments.
• Prepare product recommendations based on data and category needs.
