Job summary

Jobot in Dallas, TX is seeking a Sourcing Manager to own direct electrical materials and equipment categories. You will collaborate with the Director of Strategic Sourcing to build supplier relationships, drive category strategy, and deliver measurable cost improvements as the function scales.

The role requires 5–10 years of sourcing/procurement experience and a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for an engineering/technical background.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of progressive sourcing or procurement experience.
• Bachelor's degree required; engineering or technical background a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute sourcing strategies for direct electrical materials, equipment, and services.
• Manage day-to-day supplier relationships, including performance tracking and issue resolution.
• Support RFx events, negotiations, and supplier agreements under the Director's guidance.
• Analyze spend, pricing trends, and supplier performance to identify cost savings and risk mitigation opportunities.
• Partner with engineering and operations to align sourcing decisions with technical and project requirements.
• Maintain accurate contract and supplier data to support category strategy and reporting.
• Support the Director in developing and tracking sourcing metrics and KPIs.
• Assist with supplier onboarding and qualification for new categories or vendors.
