Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking an experienced procurement leader to execute strategic sourcing for sub-categories, build strong supplier ties, and drive cost savings. The role includes negotiating contracts, implementing e-procurement catalogs, and tracking supplier performance within a hybrid work environment.

You will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers, leveraging Icertis and GovRAMP experience to ensure compliance and effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8 years in sourcing/supplier selection with at least 6 years negotiating pricing and terms.
• BA/BS required; MBA preferred; CPM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Executes standardized strategic sourcing processes for assigned sub-categories.
• Builds and maintains relationships with internal customers and suppliers.
• Focuses on cost savings and compliance.
• Participates in cross-enterprise commodity teams and tracks non-compliance.

Responsible for supporting Procurement. Responsible for the execution and implementation of one or more sub-category sourcing strategies.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Executes standardized strategic sourcing processes for assigned sub-categories.

Builds and maintains strong working relationships with internal customers and key suppliers for sub-categories.

Focuses on cost savings.

Participates in cross-enterprise commodity teams for sub-categories and aggressively tracks and improves non-compliance preferred supplier(s).

Participates in fact-based negotiations and executes contracts utilizing approved terms and conditions.

Implements sourcing recommendations and develops and manages e-procurement catalog content.

Aggressively monitors, tracks and reports supplier compliance and performance benefits.

Requirements

BA/BS

8 years of experience in sourcing/supplier selection with at least 6 years experience with negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

MBA preferred.

CPM preferred.

Contracting experience, Icertis experience, Ultimate nice to have is for GovRAMP experience

PulsePoint Preference: Indianapolis, Virginia Beach, Atlanta, Woodland Hills CA, NYC

Hybrid: 1-2 times/week
