Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a senior procurement professional to support strategic sourcing across sub-categories. You will execute standardized processes, build strong relationships with internal customers and suppliers, and concentrate on cost savings.

With 8 years in sourcing and negotiation experience, you will navigate contract terms, support e-procurement content, and monitor supplier performance in a hybrid work setting, with at least weekly onsite visits as required by Elevance Health.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required with 8 years in sourcing and supplier selection.
• 6+ years negotiating pricing and contract terms; MBA preferred.
• CPM preferred.
• GovRAMP experience is a plus.
• Hybrid: 1-2 times/week.

Responsible for supporting Procurement. Responsible for the execution and implementation of one or more sub-category sourcing strategies.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Executes standardized strategic sourcing processes for assigned sub-categories.
• Builds and maintains strong working relationships with internal customers and key suppliers for sub-categories.
• Focuses on cost savings.
• Participates in cross-enterprise commodity teams for sub-categories and aggressively tracks and improves non-compliance preferred supplier(s).
• Participates in fact-based negotiations and executes contracts utilizing approved terms and conditions.
• Implements sourcing recommendations and develops and manages e-procurement catalog content.
• Aggressively monitors, tracks and reports supplier compliance and performance benefits.

Requirements

• BA/BS
• 8 years of experience in sourcing/supplier selection with at least 6 years experience with negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• MBA preferred.
• CPM preferred.
• Contracting experience, Icertis experience, Ultimate nice to have is for GovRAMP experience
• PulsePoint Preference: Indianapolis, Virginia Beach, Atlanta, Woodland Hills CA, NYC
• Hybrid: 1-2 times/week
• Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy. Unless specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, contractors are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process.
