Job summary

Elevance Health in Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid) is seeking a seasoned Sourcing professional for contract-based procurement across sub-categories. This 6-month role focuses on executing strategic sourcing processes, building strong supplier relationships, and driving cost savings.

Ideal candidates will have 8 years in sourcing with strong negotiation skills, an MBA or CPM, and fluency in cross-functional project management. Typical hours are M-F CST/EST with a focus on services procurement.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS; 8 years of experience in sourcing/supplier selection with at least 6 years experience with negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• MBA preferred. CPM preferred.

• Aggressively monitors, tracks and reports supplier compliance and performance benefits.

Responsible for supporting Procurement as well as the execution and implementation of one or more sub-category sourcing strategies.
