Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Sourcing Manager (Contract) to lead indirect sourcing across North America and EMEA, focusing on warehouse and 3PL strategies. The role requires 7+ years in sourcing, strong RFP leadership, and deep supplier governance.

Hybrid work in Seattle, with emphasis on data-driven, executive-ready recommendations. Responsibilities include building cost models, negotiating with logistics partners, and guiding cross-functional teams through complex sourcing programs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, logistics, or operations.
• Proven leadership in strategic sourcing with large spend (> $150M).
• Experience leading complex RFPs and supplier selections in warehousing/3PL.
• Strong negotiation skills for logistics, warehousing, and 3PL services.
• Expertise in supplier management, evaluation, and governance.
• Ability to build business cases, financial models, and executive-ready analyses.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a warehouse network sourcing strategy aligned with growth and cost objectives.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, RFPs, and supplier onboarding.
• Create supplier evaluation frameworks and governance processes.
• Drive supplier diversification and risk mitigation strategies.
• Lead end-to-end warehouse and 3PL RFP processes and negotiations.
• Build total cost of ownership and scenario-based financial models.
• Deliver executive-ready recommendations and presentations.
