Job summary
Carrier is seeking a Warehouse Procurement Leader to oversee sourcing and management of warehousing, distribution, cross-docking, and related 3PL services across Climate Solutions Americas. This hybrid role requires 4 days in the office and 1 day remote from Atlanta, Charlotte, or Palm Beach Gardens.
A US permanent resident is required. You will collaborate with Logistics Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Real Estate, and Global Procurement to drive network transformation, capacity
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Finance, or Business.
- Significant experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, warehousing, logistics, distribution, or 3PL management.
- Proven success leading complex warehouse or 3PL sourcing events and negotiations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the CSA warehousing and distribution sourcing strategy, including fulfillment, cross‑docking, transloading, yard management, and value‑added logistics services.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing activities including RFIs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contracting.
- Establish contracts with clear performance metrics, incentives, gainsharing, audit rights, and continuous improvement requirements.
- Provide executive reporting on sourcing progress, supplier performance, productivity, market conditions, and risks.
