Amazon is seeking a Sourcing Manager to drive procurement for AWS data centers in Seattle. You will collaborate with networking, design engineering, and delivery teams to translate project requirements into material plans ensuring on-time delivery for customers.

The role emphasizes supplier performance, cost reduction, risk management, and cross-functional leadership across supply chain, operations, and engineering in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations.
• 5+ years of strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field
• Experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations
• Experience in strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python
• Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company

Responsibilities

• Manage day to day operational processes for cable ordering.
• Work with a range of stakeholders including supply chain, operations, engineering, and suppliers to drive supply profiles and to support on-time material availability.
• Analyze business and technology trends to identify process improvement opportunities, reduce costs, and minimize risks for AWS and its customers.
• Manage material inventories for AWS data centers
• Evaluate and monitor performance of suppliers
• Lead cross-functional meetings with clear document writing, agenda creation, note capture, and follow-up activity coordination.
• Serve as an escalation point for teams to remediate supplier/material risks.
