Job summary

CHEP is seeking a driven Manager, Strategic Sourcing for 3rd Party Manufacturing. You will lead strategic sourcing across 3PL and outsourced services in the Americas, drive spend analysis, negotiate agreements, and manage supplier performance to deliver value and sustainability outcomes.

You will partner with Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Quality, Sustainability, and Procurement leadership. You will work to improve service levels, quality, and cost performance, while advancing decarbonization

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
5+ years of strategic sourcing experience in services, operations or manufacturing.
Supplier segmentation and stakeholder management experience.
Experience managing multinational teams and projects.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across 3PL and outsourced services.
Develop fact-based sourcing strategies with market analysis.
Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance.
Drive sustainability and decarbonization objectives with vendors.
Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to improve service, quality, and cost performance.
Mentor and develop sourcing personnel and lead 7-step sourcing process.
Present quarterly business reviews and manage supplier scorecards.
