Texas Instruments is seeking a Sourcing Specialist in Dallas to protect TI’s supply chain through deep acumen of the current, potential, and future supply base. The role involves developing sourcing strategies, monitoring market drivers, and engaging suppliers to drive resilience and supplier performance.

The candidate will work with global teams, support new product development sourcing, and manage contractual and spend communications across business units in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies to meet corporate objectives.
• Monitor supply market drivers and adjust sourcing strategy for future performance goals.
• Identify opportunities and define sourcing projects.
• Discover new sources of supply and lead supplier development.
• Engage suppliers to execute projects and drive supply chain resilience.
• Develop detailed business processes for robust category management and supplier engagement.
• Own a spend category and its sourcing strategy.
• Lead contractual agreements between TI legal team and vendors.
• Oversee vendor relations including price negotiation, quotations, contracts, warranties, rebates, quality, capacity, forecasts and delivery.
• Manage all sourcing and spend communications between vendor and business units.
• Collaborate with global operational teams to resolve vendor management or supply risk.
• Work with new product development groups to source next technology needs.
• Leverage TI’s supplier performance framework to manage expectations and goals.
• Execute with ownership and urgency in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Analyze and anticipate needs based on market trends.
