Foodbuy seeks an experienced procurement professional to develop and execute sourcing category strategies, analyze spend, run RFx processes, and negotiate contracts with suppliers. You will partner with business stakeholders to optimize value and ensure cross-functional alignment, while driving supplier management and cost-saving initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement, strong analytics, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 5+ years in Procurement/Supply Chain/Sourcing with proven results.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Project management experience and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across teams.
• Customer focus orientation with data-driven decision making.
• Advanced data analysis using large datasets and financial models.
• Experience managing P&L or budgets is a plus.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation and contract management of large-scale POs.
• Guide projects from strategic planning through implementation.
• Collaborate with Category Development for product insights.
• Strategize with stakeholders to deliver effective procurement solutions.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to define supplier requirements.
• Source and evaluate suppliers via formal RFx processes.
• Assess supplier financial stability and total cost of ownership.
• Identify and realize cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain contract data in sourcing systems.
• Develop strategic sourcing plans aligned with business goals.
