Job summary

SPX Technologies’ HVAC Segment Leadership in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead category strategies, supplier selection and contracts, while driving cost, quality, and availability improvements across transportation and warehousing services.

The role requires 5–8 years in global manufacturing, strong negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration with product management, engineering and quality teams. Travel ~25% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in global manufacturing with increasing responsibilities.
• International experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Materials Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short- and long-term sourcing strategies.
• Optimize cost and supply chains.
• Lead supplier identification, selection, RFX, negotiation, contracting.
• Support NPD programs in cross-functional settings with product management, engineering, manufacturing, and quality.
• Mitigate risk to ensure on-time delivery and business growth.
