Job summary

Novus Foods is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to own co-manufacturing strategy and end-to-end commodity planning across a direct spend portfolio. You will influence P&L, drive supplier negotiations, and lead cross-functional efforts with Finance, Operations, and R&D to optimize costs and resilience.

The role requires deep category expertise, strong quantitative skills, and the executive presence to present defensible positions to C-suite stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in SCM/related field; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years in procurement or commodity management, food/CPG preferred.
• Ability to build and present cost models and PPV reporting to senior leaders.
• Familiarity with market intelligence sources and current market conditions.

Responsibilities

• Own co-manufacturing strategy including sourcing, contracting, and performance management.
• Lead category-level commodity strategy with multi-year cost models and scenarios.
• Monitor markets daily and translate price moves into P&L impact for leadership.
• Negotiate pricing and terms; ensure contract coverage across categories.
• Develop PPV tracking and inflation analyses for Finance/FP&A audiences.
• Identify supply risks and implement contingency plans.
• Run RFQ/RFP events and evaluate total cost of ownership with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain supplier relationships and drive accountability for cost, quality, and service.
• Leverage AI/ML tools to improve cost visibility and forecast accuracy.
