Job summary

Novus Foods, LLC is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to own co-manufacturing and end-to-end commodity strategy for a defined direct-spend portfolio. You will connect procurement, finance, and operations to drive P&L outcomes and supply chain resilience.

The role demands deep category expertise, strong quantitative skills, and the presence to present defensible positions to C-suite stakeholders. Hybrid or on-site in Cincinnati preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business or related field.
• 5+ years of direct procurement or commodity management experience in food/CPG.
• Ability to present commodity cost models and PPV reporting to senior leadership.
• Strong Excel skills for cost modeling and scenario analysis; SAP experience.
• Experience with AI/ML tools in procurement workflows (Claude, GPT, Gemini).

Responsibilities

• Own co-manufacturing strategy: sourcing, contracting, performance management.
• Develop category-level commodity strategy with multi-year cost models.
• Monitor markets and translate price movements into P&L impact for leadership.
• Lead supplier negotiations and manage contract coverage targets.
• Build cost models and PPV tracking bridging procurement and FP&A; report to stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risk with contingency plans.
• Execute sourcing events (RFQ/RFP) and evaluate total cost of ownership.
• Manage supplier relationships through business reviews and accountability.
• Leverage AI/ML tools to enhance cost visibility and forecast accuracy.
