Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking a Sourcing/Commodity Manager to oversee procurement of materials and services for production, driving lean practices across the purchasing process.

Responsibilities include market analysis, supplier management, and negotiation to secure cost-effective, reliable materials while ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. Strong leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree in a related technical or business discipline.
• Four+ years of directly related experience in sourcing/procurement.
• Knowledge of products, manufacturing processes, FAA regulations and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Manages the Division's purchases of raw materials, supplies, equipment or services.
• Establishes supplier selection criteria based on price, quality, delivery and compliance.
• Interviews, selects and negotiates with suppliers to address material requirements and costs.
• Develops continuous improvement programs with suppliers for quality, delivery and service.
• Develops reorder procedures and contingency programs; benchmarks supplier performance.
